The boy adopted by the old man grew up as a tall and clever boy. He wanted to help the old man and accompanied him when the old man went hunting in the woods. The old man taught the boy how to make a strong bow and how to shoot rabbit or pheasant. As a young boy, he mastered to hunt these small animals and wanted to try on bigger animals such as bear. The old man showed a thick branch of a pine tree and said. "One day, if you can brake this branch by a single shot, then you may challenge a bear. Before that, you are immature to do such a big try."
When the boy became 15 years old, there was a call for brave young men to fight with pirates. After the last king deceased because of an accident in hunting, the new king had granted foreign trade which gave him a big income from taxing. However, foreign trade had a side effect. The price of the commodities raised year by year which annoyed common people in the kingdom. Those who could not pay tax went into criminal groups and many pirates had began to attack the ships.
